Whenever I’m faced with a difficult situation or making a decision, I always think, “How will this affect the participant’s experience?”

I am a business analyst within the Benefit Accounts segment. My team assists new clients with onboarding to the Via Benefits platform. We implement file feeds, web services and single sign-on connections to allow a seamless user experience between the Benefit Connect and Via Benefits platforms. I’m responsible for configuring and testing these files and connections to ensure participants have the correct eligibility and coverage periods on their accounts, that the funding of their accounts is received on time and is in the correct format, and that participants have access to their accounts to pay for eligible expenses.

When I started at WTW, I was in the service center speaking to participants on a daily basis. As I have moved up through the company, I take those experiences with me, and whenever I’m faced with a difficult situation or making a decision, I always think, “How will this affect the participant’s experience?” I enjoy helping people and seeing colleagues grow in their careers, which is why I have created a training program to help our entry-level service center and claims processing colleagues gain the skills and knowledge needed to advance in their careers. We launched the pilot training program on August 9, 2021 and continue to make improvements as we learn through the process.
