As a supervisor on the Benefits Accounts team, I am largely responsible for giving customer service representatives the tools and support they need to provide the best possible service. Much of my time is spent on developing and delivering training and ongoing coaching.

Healthcare and dependent care spending accounts are beneficial in so many ways. Many people are unaware that they can use an HSA as a part of their retirement planning by saving and investing as well. The tax benefits can make a difference for anyone, as this can increase net income.

I feel a deep sense of pride in my work and enjoy using my skills to help improve quality of life for others. I love knowing that I help people make the most of their hard-earned money to take care of their medical bills, provide care for their children and even prepare for their retirement. For example, when I was a customer service representative, a gentlemen called in distressed about his daughter who was in college and somehow had lost her coverage. I was able to add their daughter back to their insurance plan retroactively so that incurred expenses could be reprocessed with the insurance carrier. He started crying and said I had helped them immensely; his daughter had a chronic condition that resulted in high medication and hospital bills.
